Volunteer Service

Building a caring community is no simple task. It takes hard work and dedication from everyone, as well as a shared passion for this place we call home. Volunteer service is a key component to the quality of life in Verrado.

Verrado residents volunteer locally and globally - giving their time and talent to enrich our community and to invest in the lives of others.

Within Verrado, these volunteers lead clubs, assist at community events, tutor students in our schools, and more to make our community stronger. Outside Verrado, volunteers serve and deliver food at local soup kitchens and food banks, host charitable clothing drives for local, national, and international organizations, and organize charitable activities and fundraisers for people in need around the globe - for example, helping build new homes for the people of New Orleans and helping provide clean water for communities in Haiti.
