Sometimes living in a property such as Verrado, you might not realize the grand scale of the common areas. It is our job as your landscape management vendor to know what your property is comprised of, and we would like to share that information with you.
The Verrado community has:
• Computerized Central Irrigation Control System controlling 90 irrigation clocks
• 16,428 trees comprised of 39 different species, worth approximately $23,874,301.21 (data as of 2009. The tree inventory increases in value as the tree mature.)
• 276 Saguaros worth approximately $467,500.00
The Verrado tree inventory provides:

• 2,149,879 square feet of canopy cover; this equals 49.35 acres of shade throughout the community • 2,529,756 gallons of rainfall intercepted annually; this could fill approximately 127 pools (based on a pool size of 20,000 gallons). • 342,101 pounds of CO2 sequestered annually. • This means the CO2 emitted by approximately 30 passenger cars is offset each year; based on a passenger vehicle travelling 12,500 miles a year and emitting 11,450 pounds of CO2. The Verrado Community Association, Inc., maintains approximately 221 acres of common area, which is 9,626,760 square feet. Out of the 221 acres, there are 125 acres of granite areas, 42 acres of turf and 54 acres of natural area. These numbers will likely increase as the Community Association continues to grow.
