Road Closure - Indian School Road between 195th Ave & Perryville Road
Beginning at 5:00 a.m., Monday, February 6, 2012, the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) contractor will close Indian School Road between 195th Avenue/Jackrabbit Trail and Perryville Road to perform necessary roadway and irrigation facility construction activities at the Indian School Road crossing of the Eastern Canal.
During the temporary roadway closure, Thomas Road, 195th Avenue/Jackrabbit Trail or Perryville Road may be used as an alternate route.
Indian School Road is scheduled to reopen by 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
About the Project: This project will remove the existing crossing of Indian School Road over the Beardsley Canal and construct a wider paved culvert crossing to accommodate the future five-lane (ultimate) roadway. Additional improvements include the widening of the existing roadway approaches, the realignment of the 191st Avenue “T”-intersection on the south side of Indian School Road and the reconstruction of impacted water irrigation facilities.
