Get on the Bus. The VCA will provide lunch. Join us and attend the May 22 Open Meeting at the Arizona Corporation Commission to show support for Verrado’s position not to deconsolidate the sewer district. Our case is expected to be heard at 1:00 PM. We expect residents from the Anthem community that oppose Verrado's position to show up en masse at this meeting. It is important that Verrado residents also show up en masse so that our position not to deconsolidate the district is seen and heard by the Arizona Corporation Commission too.

As night temperatures start to creep up, summer Bermuda grass begins to grow and winter Rye grass begins to recede. Transitioning from Ryegrass to Bermuda grass is a gradual process beginning in April and through to the end of May.

Indian School Road between 195th Avenue and Perryville Road will be closed February 6 through June 6, 2012 to perform necessary construction activities. During the roadway closure, Thomas Road, 195th Avenue/Jackrabbit Trail or Perryville Road may be used as an alternate route.

  • Common Area Bermuda Grass Transition

    Scott HeadshotAs temperatures begin to rise, Verrado's common grass areas may appear yellow and even dry in some areas. This turf transition is temporary as the more heat-tolerable Bermuda grass begins to grow, and the Ryegrass begins to recede. Our landscape team continues to purposefully encourage growth of our Bermuda grass, providing lush, green common areas across Verrado for outdoor enjoyment this summer. Watch my video to learn what you can expect during this grass transition.
